Getting to know Jordy Burns
Eora/Sydney-based singer/songwriter Jordy Burns has dropped her debut single ‘Walls’. We asked her to tell us about herself:
I am … a singer who sings so much that she loses her voice and still wants to keep singing.
‘Walls’ is… a piece of my heart (break) that I wasn’t sure I’d ever share, but here we are! Its also my debut single and the start of a new adventure.
Home is… wherever the next adventure is waiting for me. I’ve lived on 4 continents and in many more cities and hope to live in a few more. My family loves to move around so we always find a way to be together and that’s home for me.
I spend too much time…writing lists of my lists.
I’ve never… seen ‘The Titanic’ Its been so long and he dies… do I need to?!
It might surprise people to learn that… I’m a classically trained opera singer who moonlights as a Psychology major.
