Death Cab For Cutie are heading to Australia

Fans of heartfelt indie rock, this one’s worth circling on the calendar – Death Cab for Cutie are heading back to Australia for a long-awaited run of shows in support of their upcoming album, I Built You A Tower. Fans can expect some new material alongside the songs that have soundtracked breakups, road trips, and late-night introspection for over two decades.
If you’ve never seen them live, Death Cab for Cutie have a way of turning even the biggest rooms into something intimate. Fronted by Ben Gibbard, the band built their legacy on a blend of shimmering guitars, poetic lyricism, and melodies that stick with you long after the final note.
Part of the excitement around this tour is the chance to hear those classics alongside the newer material, with the band continuing to evolve their sound while staying true to what made them so beloved in the first place. Whether you’ve been listening since the early 2000s or only just discovered them, there’s something uniquely powerful about hearing these songs live, surrounded by a crowd that knows every word.
