Hayley Williams announces ‘The Hayley Williams Show’ Australia dates
Hayley Williams has confirmed her long-awaited return to Australia, and it’s a blink-and-you’ll-miss-it affair. The Paramore frontwoman will play just two shows on these shores as part of The Hayley Williams Show, touching down at Sydney’s Enmore Theatre on Wednesday 10 February and Melbourne’s The Forum on Wednesday 17 February 2027.
Two shows. Two cities. That’s it. For an artist who last graced Australian stages with Paramore’s sold-out Domain show, and whose solo run through North America, Latin America and Europe has been shifting tickets in seconds, a run this size means exactly what it looks like: demand is going to outstrip supply by a wide margin.
The dates are also fuelling real speculation that Williams could turn up on the Laneway Festival 2027 bill. Sydney’s Enmore show falls two days before Laneway’s confirmed Sydney date (12 February), and the Melbourne show falls two days ahead of Laneway’s Melbourne stop (19 February), a gap that lines up exactly the way a festival sideshow usually does. Nothing’s confirmed and the Laneway lineup hasn’t dropped yet, but the timing isn’t subtle.
Getting a ticket won’t be as straightforward as usual.
Williams has run this entire album cycle through Openstage, the fan-verification platform previously used by Radiohead, Oasis and Lana Del Rey, and there’s no reason to expect the Australian shows will be handled any differently. The system requires fans to verify both an email address and a phone number before they’re issued a unique presale code, putting real people in competition with each other instead of bots and resale operations. Williams has also run face-value ticket exchanges on this tour and switched off standard transferability in most markets, a direct swing at the scalper sites that have hovered around every date so far.
The Hayley Williams Show pulls from all three of her solo records, most recently last year’s four-time Grammy-nominated Ego Death At A Bachelorette Party, alongside Petals For Armor and Flowers For Vases / Descansos. Williams built her name as the sole constant across six Paramore albums, from 2007’s Riot! through to 2023’s Grammy-winning This Is Why, before stepping into a solo run that sold out arenas across three continents and has drawn surprise guests at nearly every stop.
