Our top ten tunes of the week – March 18


These are the songs that have been on heavy rotation in our office over the past seven days:

1. Gruff Rhys – Loan Your Loneliness 

This new single is taken from the Welsh legend’s upcoming seventh solo album, Seeking New Gods, which lands on 21st May through Rough Trade Records / Remote Control Records.

2. Teenage Fanclub – The Sun Won’t Shine On Me

With their new album, Endless Arcade, due for release 30th April, the legendary band have dropped another new track.

3. Kirsten Salty – Limbo

The second single from the upcoming Sydney-based artist accentuates the restlessness of a new relationship; and all the unknowns and ups and downs.

4. Max Leone – the craziest thing i’ve ever done

This new single is lifted from the Los Angeles-based songwriter’s debut EP, Malleable, which is set to land soon.

5. Enny – Same Old

This new single is taken from the South East London rapper’s eagerly awaited debut EP.

6. Lisa Gerrard & Jules Maxwell — Noyalain (Burn) 

Lisa Gerrard & Jules Maxwell from Dead Can Dance have teamed up with James Chapman from MAPS to unveil the first single from their upcoming album, set to land on the 7th May.

7. Jordan MerrickThis Rainy Day 

The Brisbane-based folk singer-songwriter has unveiled a video accompaniment to his latest single.

8. LA WOMEN – Blame Me

The New Zealand indie-pop trio have shared their first new music of 2021.

9. Morningside LaneHome Crowd 

Check out the new one from the up-and-coming New Jersey act.

10. Casey Barnes – Come Turn Me On 

The multi Golden Guitar winner will be taking this new track around Australia, including Way Out West Festival, Gippsland Country Music Festival, Gympie Music Muster, and gigs in QLD, SA, VIC and TAS!
