Getting to know Mammal – interview

Mammal’s sophomore album ‘The Penny Drop’ is out 6th March. Guitarist Pete Williamson tells us more:

We are… a bunch of dudes who vibrate at a very high rock octane frequency which causes large crowds of people to scream out “HELL YEAH!”.

2024 has so far been… like waiting for Christmas to come, we can’t wait for our fans to unwrap the Mammal presents landing on March 6 with our new album.

Our upcoming album The Penny Drop will be… a massive achievement for us, we are sure a lot of fans, even our friends, hell ever our enemies thought this day would never come, our second studio album and just on the down low it rocks very hard! Some might say it goes to ELEVEN.

Home is… where the tunes are loud, the people are friendly and the crackers on our rider’s deli platter get mixed up with carrots, hummus and making even the hardest rocking band seem like a bunch of health freaks.

We spend too much time… talking about doing stuff, we actually need to do more stuff. If we didn’t talk about stuff we would probably be 5 albums in and 10 world tours…but maybe we like talking about stuff too much…hmmmmm, I wonder if there is a ‘stuff’ therapist?

We never… ever seem to have any rider left. No mater how big our rider is whenever we come off stage and finish talking to a few people the rider is gone. Maybe we have a rider spider, if anyone knows any traps to catch them then drop us a line. Seriously though we like to entertain and it seems people like our hospitality!
