The Damned announce The Hard-Ons as main support for last ever tour!

When The Damned sought an Australian act to join them on their farewell tour, only one name made their list: The Hard-Ons.

The Hard-Ons, an iconic punk band from Australia, require little introduction. Their debut single, “Surfin’ On My Face,” in 1985, marked the start of an incredible run of 17 consecutive No. 1 hits on the Australian alternative music charts. They became only the third Australian band, after Nick Cave and the Go-Betweens, to crack the top 5 of the UK’s NME charts. Their energetic rendition of “Let There Be Rock” alongside Henry Rollins remains one of the standout covers in music history, culminating in a memorable collaboration at the inaugural Big Day Out in 1992.

In 2021, The Hard-Ons welcomed their longtime friend Tim Rogers, the driving force behind the chart-topping band You Am I, as their lead vocalist. Rogers further enhanced the band’s dynamic stage presence, blending seamlessly with their signature blend of punk, metal, and power-pop.

The fact The Hard-On’s continue to dominate the scene after four decades speaks volumes about their enduring creativity and the unwavering support of their dedicated fanbase.

The pairing of The Hard-Ons and The Damned promises to be a match made in punk fucking heaven.
