Foo Fighters announce Australian and NZ supports ahead of Take Cover tour

Foo Fighters are gearing up for their return to Australia and New Zealand this November, revealing a stacked lineup of local support acts for their upcoming Take Cover Tour.

With their twelfth studio album Your Favorite Toy now out in the world, Dave Grohl and co. are preparing for a run of stadium shows across Australia in November 2026, followed by New Zealand and Perth dates in January 2027.

The band have handpicked 16 emerging acts from across Australia and New Zealand to join them on the road, including The Belair Lip Bombs, C.O.F.F.I.N, The Buoys, Mini Skirt, FRENZEE, Dick Move and Southern River Band.

The tour follows the release of Your Favorite Toy, which features singles ‘All of the People’, ‘Caught In The Echo’ and the album’s title track. Speaking to Classic Rock, Grohl described the record as the most fun the band have had making an album in years, embracing a spontaneous approach to recording.

Known for their marathon live shows and enormous back catalogue of hits, Foo Fighters will return to Australian stadiums for what promises to be another massive run of performances.
