Froth & Fury Fest name Knocked Loose as headliner and reveal 2nd wave
Froth & Fury Fest has added Knocked Loose as a headliner for its 2027 edition and announced 11 more acts, taking over Adelaide Showground on Saturday 30 January. The Kentucky hardcore band joins Clutch and Alpha Wolf at the top of the bill, with a third and final wave still to come.
Knocked Loose’s slot marks their first Australian festival appearance since Knotfest 2023. Clutch, meanwhile, return to Adelaide for the first time since Soundwave 2014. The second wave adds Florida death metal veterans Deicide, hardcore institution Terror, Canadian outfit Cancer Bats and UK newcomers Heriot, while Bay Area thrash band Death Angel will play a special Act III set.
The local end of the bill gets real weight too. Adelaide hardcore band Stressed, Newcastle’s Feel The Pain, Sydney punks Arse, Guantanamo Bay City Rollers and Oath of Damnation all join the lineup, sitting alongside first wave names Paleface Swiss, Carpenter Brut, Igorrr, Propagandhi, Counterparts, Corrosion of Conformity, Death to All, Dark Angel, 28 Days, The Berzerker, Truth Corroded, Fox Lake, Sierra Veins, Ratsalad and Raccoon City.
With the huge moves that Knocked Loose have been making since their last time in Australia, their addition to the lineup will have turned even more heads south for the January date, only building on the momentum of this unique festival.
Froth and Fury prides itself on being for the fans, by the fans and making it all ages means the next generation get a look in well before most live music events allow them to at 18. With such a wide range of styles and sounds on this year’s bill, there really will be something for everyone!
